tree Health Care

Tree health care is the process of applying various fertilizers, pesticides, or hormone regulators that are applied to address certain issues within the tree.

Trees are the hosts of many different fungi and invasive bugs that can ultimately kill the tree. Our goal is to identify the issues and address it with a chemical treatment to encourage the health of the tree. Common threats would include the emerald bore ash beetle, powdery mildew, phytophthora root rot, or anthracnose leaf spotting.

A very popular product we suggest to many homeowners in urban setting is growth hormone regulators. GHM is a product that stunts the development of the canopy, but redirects those growth hormones into root development and leaf health. This is a great option for those extremely large trees in the downtown area but still have plenty of life left in them. Treatments are regularly occurring and applied every 3 years.
